Prenatal Fitness Programs at NLPT
The goal of this program is not to make you “fit” for delivery.
The primary goal for this program is to train you to become physically stronger and more resilient in fitness, motherhood and life.
In these uncertain times, it is easy to believe that achieving this is much too difficult. Perhaps you’re worried about labor and delivery, or you’re feeling a deep sense of loneliness from weeks of isolation from loved ones during an especially vulnerable season of your life. Maybe you’re weary of another week of managing distance learning, or taking care of rambunctious little ones while working from home. Maybe you’re struggling with sleep. Maybe you’ve put your own health on the back burner while taking care of those around you.
Whatever challenges you’re facing, please know that you’re not alone. I’m here to help.
My hope is that in this program you find yourself supported and equipped to move forward by adopting strategies that work uniquely for you.
Your body is doing something simply amazing during pregnancy and is about to embark on a journey of motherhood that is both challenging and incredibly rewarding. I want to empower you to see that your body is capable of so much; strength from the inside out.
The Prenatal Fitness program is a exercise treatment plan-based program designed to help you to progress you from understanding the basics of your personal considerations to equipping you to self-manage your fitness and implement your strategy and prepare for delivery and postpartum
This program includes:
An Initial Assessment (1.5-hour)
A review your health history, current fitness level, and personal health and fitness goals
A physical assessment of movement patterns and tendencies
Education on the individual considerations for exercise in pregnancy and symptom management
An opportunity to apply some of the considerations in a short one-on-one exercise session
Small Group Exercise Training
Progressive in-person training coupled with a home-based program to provide support, education and troubleshoot obstacles in training
12 1-hour sessions; 2x/week for 6 weeks
No more than 3 participants per group
A Follow-up Assessment
A reassessment upon completion of the treatment plan to evaluate your progress and training goals and provide you feedback and next steps in your training

Pricing
1.5-hour Initial Assessment - $125
12 Small-group Exercise Sessions; 2x/week for 6 weeks - $25/session
1-hour Follow-up Assessment - $85
